China and India are gearing up for the 25th round of Special Representatives’ Talks concerning their boundary disputes. This development comes as Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun highlighted ongoing communications between the two nations regarding border issues. Guo emphasized that both countries are diligently working to implement agreements from the preceding round of discussions.
Currently, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in New Delhi, participating in the 16th Meeting of BRICS National Security Advisors and High Representatives on National Security. During his visit, Wang engaged in discussions with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, which took place on Monday.
Guo Jiakun assured that the overall situation along the China-India border remains stable. He also noted that the communication channels between the two countries are functioning effectively. This ongoing dialogue is part of the efforts to maintain peace and stability along the bordering regions.
Both nations are actively working on implementing the consensus reached in the 24th round of talks. The upcoming discussions are set to continue the collaborative efforts aimed at managing the border issues efficiently. The focus remains on sustaining a peaceful coexistence along the frontier.
