Xi and Lula Focus on Tech Innovation in Bilateral and BRICS Discussions

In a recent phone call, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering their countries’ bilateral relations. The conversation focused on enhancing economic cooperation and tackling global challenges together. Lula also took the opportunity to congratulate China on being selected to host the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. He reaffirmed Brazil’s commitment to collaborating with China in supporting the United Nations, strengthening BRICS cooperation, and promoting multilateralism. President Lula emphasized the importance of resolving international disputes through dialogue, underscoring Brazil’s dedication to peaceful and cooperative global relations.
