China Unveils Cutting-Edge Satellite Cluster for Commercial Space Connectivity

On Thursday, China made significant strides in its commercial space program with the successful launch of a new batch of satellites. These satellites were deployed from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center aboard a modified Long March 6 rocket, marking another milestone in China’s ambitious space endeavors.

The newly launched satellites have successfully reached their designated orbit and are set to join the Spacesail Constellation. This large-scale commercial satellite constellation is under development to enhance China’s low-Earth orbit capabilities, focusing on providing improved communications, connectivity, and other commercial space services.
