Xi Jinping and Russian Prime Minister Strengthen Strategic Cooperation in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Beijing on Tuesday, reaffirming both nations’ commitment to deepening strategic cooperation and aligning their development goals.
Xi emphasized that China and Russia have remained steady despite global challenges, pursuing higher-quality development and long-term stability. He described maintaining and advancing bilateral relations as a “strategic choice” that serves both nations’ interests.
The Chinese leader noted that recent meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin had set new directions for collaboration. Xi urged both sides to fully implement these agreements, enhance coordination, and broaden areas of cooperation to better serve their peoples and contribute to global peace and development.
