Vietnam and China to Hold Key Cooperation Meetings in Hanoi

Vietnam and China will hold a series of high-level meetings in Hanoi from March 15 to 17 to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The 17th meeting of the Vietnam–China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation is scheduled during the visit, alongside the first ministerial-level strategic dialogue focusing on foreign affairs, national defence and public security between the two countries.
Officials from both sides are expected to review the progress of existing cooperation and discuss ways to expand collaboration in key sectors, including diplomacy, security and defence.
The meetings are being organised to implement the common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries’ parties and governments, aimed at strengthening the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and China.
