China and the Netherlands have reached a consensus to enhance the resolution of business disputes through consultation, aiming to bolster the security and stability of global semiconductor supply chains. This agreement highlights the shared commitment of the two nations to deepen their economic and trade ties, which have seen significant growth over the past ten years.
The accord was reached following the 18th meeting of the China-Netherlands Joint Economic and Trade Committee held in Beijing. During this meeting, officials from both countries engaged in discussions about their bilateral trade relationship and examined the broader economic links between China and the European Union.
Recognizing the importance of a stable semiconductor industry, both nations agreed on the necessity for their governments to foster an environment conducive to resolving business disputes through dialogue.
